Description
Watsu® II
5-9/03/2009 Watsu 2 with Peggy Schoedinger and Anat Juran in Perth Australia
Watsu 2 expands the Transition Flow taught in Watsu 1.
You learn additional moves and bodywork in each position and how to incorporate them and other moves, as needed.
You learn about the meridians and points in Watsu and explore following the client's tendency to move, and how to creatively explore your own movements.
Practicing the point work, the lifts, the pushes and pulls introduced at this stage, helps develop the ability to explore and play with energy. Because you now have so much to work and play with, it is recommended you practice many sessions before going on to Watsu 3 or another form.
Come join physiotherapist Peggy Schoedinger, for a special Watsu II.
The emphasis of this course will be on learning Watsu II moves and how to adapt them for people with special needs.
We will learn how to provide the best possible alignment for our clients’ bodies as well as our own.
We will discuss the physiological effects of Watsu sessions so that we fully understand the benefits as well as precautions for Watsu.
Videos will be used to demonstrate Watsu being adapted for patients with a variety of orthopedic and neurological challenges.
